NVIDIA is rolling out a major update to its new NVIDIA App, making significant strides in unifying its control panel, GeForce Experience, and RTX features. The latest beta update introduces key features, such as G-SYNC controls, RTX HDR multi-monitor support, and driver rollback capabilities. With this move, NVIDIA aims to simplify the user experience for gamers and creators alike.
This update brings G-SYNC controls directly into the NVIDIA App, allowing users to manage G-SYNC settings without needing to navigate the older NVIDIA Control Panel. This streamlined feature is a big plus for users, offering them full control over their display’s G-SYNC compatibility. NVIDIA has also introduced RTX HDR, an AI-driven filter that transforms standard dynamic range (SDR) games into HDR, giving gamers more vibrant visuals.
According to NVIDIA, this feature will work seamlessly across multiple displays for a broader, more immersive experience. Users can toggle RTX HDR through the Game Filter options, making it easy to enhance gaming sessions on supported hardware.
The new driver rollback function is another essential addition to the NVIDIA App. In cases where a driver update might cause performance issues, users can quickly revert to a previous, stable version. This change simplifies a process that once required manual uninstallation, enhancing user convenience.
NVIDIA has confirmed that by the end of the year, all GeForce Experience users will be fully migrated to the NVIDIA App, marking the end of GeForce Experience as it moves towards a unified platform.
