NVIDIA has today released the latest BETA version of their GeForce driver suite.
The GeForce 285.38 BETA is right on time for the highly anticipated Battlefield 3, which will get its beta started on the 29th of September.
This latest driver is set to increase performances in Battlefield 3 beta by up to 38% as well as adding SLI profiles for the game, adding several stability fixes and image quality improvement.
All of the above will be much needed, the SLI profile being a priority for gamers having the either the ‘piggy bank’ or more fortunately, the specs required for the most appreciated Ultra settings, for which gaming even on a high-end top of the line gaming laptop is not recommended, unless you’re trying to make fire that is (if you’ve no idea what I’m talking about, read this and this).
Apart from Battlefield 3, SLI profiles are also added for Dead Island, Diablo III, Dragon Age 2, Need for Speed: The Run as well as Saints Row: The Third. The new driver should also fix a stability issue with Crysis 2 in DirectX 9.
