NZXT have just announced a redesigned version of the popular Phantom 630 Ultra Tower case. The new version features a fully windowed design unlike its predecessor which was part side panel window and part side panel mesh. We reviewed the original Phantom 630 quite a while ago and Peter decided it worthy of our top Editor’s Choice award, you can check that review here. The new version gives in to the requests of customers who wanted to see a much bigger side panel window because when you’ve got a case this big and probably rammed with high end hardware you are really going to want to show it off. In size terms the new side panel window is over twice the size of the previous one on the non-Windowed Edition version.
The new Window allows you to see the entire motherboard, the power supply and all the graphics cards in full view. The core design of the case remains identical to the first Phantom 630. The new Windowed Edition is available in Matte Black, Gunmetal and White with an expected MSRP of $179.99. For users who already have already got a Phantom 630 you can buy the case separately from the NZXT Armory Store for $29.99
Availability of these new custom side panels and Windowed Edition Phantom 630 cases is from October 2013.
