NZXT Announces GRID+ V3 Fan Controller

Aside from announcing their new H-series chassis, NZXT is also introducing the latest version of their GRID+ fan controller. This new GRID+ V3 takes smart fan control to the next level, providing an easy way to reduce noise without the complexities of software setup. It integrates with NZXT’s CAM software easily for even more precise control and monitoring.

Each GRID+ V3 supports six separate channels and can automatically detect between 3-pin and 4-pin PWM fans. Each channel supports up to 5 watts of power so it should be plenty even for demanding high-RPM units.

Its body has also been redesigned to be slimmer. This is important for those who do not have much room behind their cases for management. With a magnetic backing, it attaches easily inside almost any mid-tower case using steel construction. It measures 125 x 78 x 15 mm, while the new noise detection module adds 35 x 15 x 10mm. This adaptive noise reduction technolgoy automatically optimizes cooling and fan noise. Plus, the GRID+ V3 also has a 0dB fan feature for those who are very particular about cooling efficiency and noise.
