NZXT Avatar S Gaming Mouse Review

PackagingThe Avatar S comes packaged in a mainly white box with a large plastic cut out allowing a customer too see the product before a purchase. NZXT position their brand logo in the top left-hand corner of the box while the name of the product is located along the right-hand edge of the box on a dark grey background. The packaging is fairly minimalistic, but I think this is a good thing.
The right side of the box indicates the system requirements for this mouse to function correctly, including a USB port and 40MB of free hard drive space.
Moving onto the rear of the box reveals a wall of text which actually lists the features of the mouse in 4 different languages. The key features are all indicated including the DPI settings, polling rate and 16KB of onboard memory.
NZXT have decided to supply a small card referring you to their website instead of the actual product manual. This is an efficient way of saving energy and money while also helping the environment.
The mouse itself is protected by a plastic cut-out tailored to its shape. There should be no problems or damage caused when shipping this mouse thanks to the protective packaging.
