The fan curve is adjustable via the hybrid switch on the unit. With hybrid enabled, the fan doesn’t kick in till about 50% load, which is impressive, as that’s around 850W of silent power. Of course, it’ll likely start up on a hot day as temperature can trigger the fan too. The fan didn’t reach is maximum speed even at 100% power, but that’s a good sign, as the PSU never really got more than a little warm to the touch, so the fan still have some extra power should it be needed on a very hot day of gaming.
