NZXT H5 Flow RGB Black Mid Tower PC Case Review

How Much Does it Cost?

The NZXT H5 Flow RGB Black Mid Tower Tempered Glass Gaming Case is available now for just £109.99, which is a lot of money, but honestly, for such a high-end and premium quality case, it’s very competitive. It’s even more competitive when you factor in the two 140mm ARGB fans in the front, as well as the two additional non-RGB fans it contains.

Overview

NZXT isn’t really one of the biggest case makers out there, but they are by far one of the best-known and most respected too. Sure, they’ve had their share of flops and failures, but if anything, that’s only made them create even better products today. The H-Series has long been one of the best-look, best-made, and most practical case series on the market, and despite there being dozens of them over the last decade, that still holds true today.

NZXT H Series

As I said before, we use the larger H7 as our cooling test bench, and in the main office, we have a few more Flow series dotted around doing various office and gaming duties too. I have two H-series running the kid’s gaming PCs, and while I am using the Fratal North to match my desk aesthetic right now, I only just relinquished my own H7 (last gen model) too. I think it’s safe to say I have a lot of experience with NZXT cases, and that’s only from the last two years, let alone the last 10!

Overall though, the H5 Flow RGB is a welcome addition to the H-Series range, and while I’m not 100% sure the unique fan layout is needed, it certainly isn’t doing any harm either, and it looks neat too. The high-airflow mesh front panel is awesome, and it looks great too. Plus, there are four dust filters throughout the case to ensure you have a clean PC too.

Slick cable routing options behind the motherboard, a huge PSU shroud, and large cable routing cut-outs make this such an easy case to work with. From pro system modders to first-time system builders, everyone should find what they’re looking for with the H5 Flow.
