NZXT H510 Mid-Tower Case Review

How Much Does it Cost?

The NZXT H510 is available in matte white, matte black, and black/red variants. It’s starting price is just £74.90 for the standard version, which we reviewed today. However, the H510i is available for around £109.90 and the flagship Elite model is £149.90. Which one is right for you? Well, that’s very subjective, but at under £75, the H510 is obviously going to have a lot of appeal to any system builder.

Overview

The NZXT range is one of the strongest on the market today. Sure, Corsair, Phanteks, and Fractal (to name but a few) aren’t exactly lagging behind either. However, that doesn’t detract from NZXT delivering award-winning product time and time again. Their designs have certainly changed a lot over the last few years, but the bold and clean aesthetics are a big win in my mind.

Build Quality

There are lots of little details and innovations throughout their cases right now. Nothing “new” but it all feels a bit better, a little more refined, and that’s great. The thick metal panels, the single-screw mounting of the glass, the custom routing channels, clip-in filters, and even the audio jack. It’s all very nicely designed and constructed. Not only does it feel well made, but it also looks it too; which I think is important.

Added Value

The stock H510 is interesting, as the inclusion of the front panel USB Type-C and that combo headphone jack are very cool to have in this price range. Plus, those unique dust filters on the front panel are something I would have expected to increase the price, yet at under £75, it feels like exceptional value. You do get two very nice quality fans installed too. There’s no intake fan, however, the case is pre-configured for a front-mounted AIO. If you wanted, you could put the top fan in the front; it’s really up to you.

Should I Buy One?

At this price range, you’ll not be short of exciting cases to choose from. However, the ultra-clean design of the H510 makes it very appealing. Great features, phenomenal style, a choice of colours, and more, all make it easy for me to recommend this case to anyone!
