Interior
While the interior of the H7 Elite is pretty much identical to the H7 and the H7 Flow, I must admit, it looks much better in white than it did in black. Of course, that is subjective, but it’s hard to deny that the design is rather striking. There are plentiful cable routing options here, with a large cut-out above the motherboard, and a large one on the right with a cool cable guard covering it.
The PSU shroud offers up plenty of ventilation, with three large cable routing holes of its own.
There’s room in the front for a 360mm radiator, and a large cut-out in the PSU shroud ensures you can use the full height of the case.
In the front, you’ll find three 140mm fans, a HUGE upgrade from the single 120mm fan found in the other models. While I don’t doubt that’ll move more air, it’s more fans, so will likely result in more noise too. I’d love to see the triple fan configuration, with RGB, with the ventilated metal panel too.
Again, the fan in the back is a very different design, it’s still white, but it has a very different fin configuration, and it doesn’t have RGB.
Around the back, there are a lot of things going on, with cable routing channels dotted all over the place. There are ten Velcro straps, a load of cable tie loops, and there’s lots of extra space for excess cables.
Tucked into the top of the case, there’s a fancy built-in hub, which has all of the pre-installed fans pre-wired to it. This controls both the PWM function of the fans, as well as acting as the RGB controller. Strangely though, it seems the rear fan isn’t PWM, which is a little odd.
There are two SSD mounts tucked behind the motherboard.
Plus there is an extra drive cage in the bottom, allowing for 2 x HDD or 2 x SSDs to be installed. It’s also fully removable too should you need the extra space.
The top panel is easily removable, allowing you quick access to a large magnetic dust filter.
Below that, you’ll find a bank of 120/140mm fan/radiator mounts.
