NZXT H7 Flow RGB Case Review

NZXT has a strong brand identity, and that is very much present here, with a design that is unmistakably NZXT, at least, to anyone who has owned any of their other products in recent years. From their motherboards to their audio hardware, the clean lines, the near minimalist aesthetic, and even down to the size and shape of the perforations for airflow, these are things you see on all their products, and I love this approach. There is a full-size tempered glass side panel with white trim to help it blend in more seamlessly, and of course, the black version will have black trim.
The front panel has a huge amount of ventilation, so airflow most certainly isn’t going to be an issue. Plus, the front panel is all steel, so it’s very strong and should survive if you kick it when swinging in your computer chair… you know you’ve done it. Plus, the mesh lets a lot of light through too, so those RGB fans will look great when we power it on later.
The right side panel is flush mounted and just plain white, nothing fancy, but hey, it looks tidy, so it’s all good really.
Up on the top, there’s another flush-mounted panel, again with matching perforations to allow for a lot more airflow. However, it’s the little details that I like, such as the I/O panel.
NZXT make their hardware largely in black or white, but their company logo colour is purple, and I love that they’ve snuck that into the USB ports. Plus, you get Type-C and a combination 3.5mm audio jack here which is great; there’s an audio Y-splitter cable included in the box too.
