NZXT H7 Flow RGB Case Review

Build Quality

Robust is the first word that comes to mind, as NZXT has built this case from thick SGCC Steel panels, that are all tightly fit together. The front panel and the top panel are all a single-piece construction, unlike their older models that had various inserts, leading to many welcoming gaps and edges that let dust to get around the filters.

There’s a tightly fit fine mesh filter hind the panels, making for easy maintenance, but again, its now edge-to-edge design ensures that all airflow goes through the filter and not around it as it did on the old models.

Located behind that, you’ll find three high-quality 140mm ARGB fans, all pre-installed with anti-vibration corner mounts onto a removable cooling tray so you can mount/change/maintain fans away from the case, then install them all as a single unique once you’re ready.

The right side panel is tightly fit too, with both it and the tempered glass held in place by recessed pegs at the bottom and friction pins further up for tool-free access.

On the bottom, there are two dust filters, one for the PSU, and a smaller one that allows even more airflow to the front fans. Again, tight-fitting panels with no air gaps, and tightly fitted dust filters throughout ensure all airflow is filtered on the H7 Flow, which is fantastic.

The rear of the case features an F Series Quiet 140mm fan, and below that, all of the expansion slot covers are ventilated steel that can be reused; none of those cheap snap-off ones are to be found here!
