NZXT Kraken 240 AIO Cooler Review

NZXT has a pretty reliable history these days, with many of the best cases, coolers, PSUs on the market, and these days they’re even making headway with motherboards, headsets, microphones, monitors and more beyond that! My point is, they usually have something pretty impressive, and with their Kraken series delivering high-end performance in the past, I have high hopes their new Kraken 240 can deliver similar performance today.

NZXT Kraken 240

The new Kraken 240 is a 240mm AIO, as the name might suggest, and it comes with a black pump, black radiator and black fans, giving it a very understated look. However, it also comes with a built-in LCD on the pump, despite only costing £119.99, with rival LCD-equipped models often costing far in excess of that.

Features

  • The Kraken delivers chillingly cool performance, an easy install, and a display screen for system specs or custom images.
  • The pump features an embedded 1.54” square LCD screen to display real-time system info or custom images
  • Adjustable screen orientation accommodates pump head position
  • Powerful Asetek pump provides optimal cooling and up to 2,800 RPM whisper-quiet operation
  • Includes high-performance PWM fans with fluid dynamic bearings for optimal cooling
  • Includes F140P/F120P Static Pressure fans
  • Single breakout cable simplifies installation
  • Rubber tubing is reinforced with nylon-braided sleeves to prevent leaks
  • Control custom screen content, pump speed, and zero-noise fan curves with NZXT CAM
