A Closer Look – X61

Both the X41 and X61 come with the same high quality 140mm fans, each fitted high quality sleeved cables and rubber anti vibration mounts in all four corners (both sides).

The cables for the X61 that attach to the pump break off to form four fan connections. The setup only comes with two fans, but these connectors make expanding to a push-pull four fan configuration much easier.

The cooler features the long pipes like the X60. With 16″ of hose you’ll find that the cooler is highly compatible with larger chassis designs.

The radiator is 280mm in size; still pretty much the same as the X60 model.

As I said before, the Intel fitting comes pre-attached to the pump, but can easily be unclipped and swapped out for the AMD bracket if required.

The hoses are fitted to the pump with a swivel joint allowing for great compatibility within your chassis.

Some thermal paste is pre-applied to the large copper base, which is great for those who want a quick and easy installation, but we’ll be cleaning that off and using our Gelid paste instead.
