NZXT Kraken All-In-One CPU Cooler Roundup Review
Installation
The back plate setup is easy to install thanks to four sliding screw pegs, meaning that you don’t have to fiddle around with extra fittings. Just drop it into place and you’re good to go.
Four stand off screws hold the back plate in place and can be fitted by hand in about one minute.
Drop the pump over the four screws and hand tighten the four bolts overt the top. It really doesn’t get much easier than this.
The only thing remaining is to mount the two fans on the radiator, and again this is a very simple task (X61 pictured)
The X31 may feature different fans, but it’s still just as simple to install them.
Here you can see the pump design on the X61 and X41, when powered off they look the same as the X31, but when powered up you are treated to a customization LED back light (via software).
This is using the new Asetek mounting kit that debuted with the H105, I love it. I wish I could buy extras to replace my existing Asetek-based AIO coolers.
Interesting, well written review!
Two minor points:
– the graphs would be so much easier to read if you would highlight the product(s) discussed in the current review
– some “Stock Delta Temps” are suspect, e.g. the result for the Enermax Liqtech 120 seems wrong
