It could look like NZXT is gearing up for their first motherboard launch. Pictured have appeared that showcase the NZXT N7. Little is known at this point, but the pictures do speak a bit for themselves. It should also be noted that this is unconfirmed at the moment and for all we know, it’s just a motherboard shroud or an internal design that has been leaked.
We can easily spot the processor socket, the four RAM slots, and the PCIe slots. There are two PCIe 3.0 x16 slots, two PCIe x4 slots, and a one PCIe 3.0 x1 slot. Further, it looks like there are three USB 2.0 headers for six ports and two USB 3 header for two ports. It looks like there are four 4-pin fan connectors as well as four SATA3 connectors. M.2 slots can’t be spotted, but there might be some under the shroud. There are two pieces that look like that could be removed and hide M.2 22110 slots.
The rear IO is pictured too and that does tell us a lot. The motherboard features a single Ethernet RJ45 port, 7.1 audio, four USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0 ports and another USB port that could be 3.1 or 2.0. Further, there is an HDMI port, a DisplayPort, S/PDIF connector and a button which could be a BIOS reset button, firmware/BIOS upgrade button, or a one-touch OC solution.
If you want to know more, then you are in the same boat as us. The NZXT N7 looks quite interesting and it will be interesting to see the official specifications from the company. I’m sure we’ll hear a lot more about the N7 in the near future.
