NZXT N7 Z790 Motherboard Review

The other key areas that are worth focussing on though comes down to VRM temperatures, which can differ wildly depending on the amount, the capacity of the current that can pass through them, and of course how the various heatsinks handle that power, which in turn, creates heat.
VRM Temperatures
The NZXT N7 Z790 does have a lot of armour on the board, but the VRM heatsinks are a little on the slimmer side so it does run a bit warmer. However, this is with our hour long brutal stress test of rendering, and if you’re just gaming, I doubt it’ll ever get this hot. Oh, and hot it may be, but it’s under the threshold for being a performance concern so it’s not all bad.
