  • Drivers have a total harmonic distortion rating of <0.1% and Hi-Res certification to help minimize ear fatigue during extended gaming sessions.
  • Relay Headset allows for longer gaming without missing important game callouts or cues.

DTS Headphone:X

  • Digital 7.1 surround sound helps you take the game further to simulate a 3D environment for a deeper, immersive gaming experience.
  • Adjust audio to your play style: custom sound profiles and EQ settings enable you to custom tailor your headset to game the way you like no matter what you’re playing.

Clear Callouts with its Included Microphone

  • Give crystal clear callouts in the heat of battle with a unidirectional cardioid polar pattern design.
  • Relay’s detachable microphone is tuned for speech while minimizing unwanted sounds.
  • With high sound pressure levels, Relay’s microphone delivers exceptional clarity to your entire squad.

As for the Relay Headset, it looks just as amazing as the rest of it, with that ultra-modern monochrome aesthetic and single-piece white ear cup on the back of the drivers. NZXT has put a lot of effort into hiding joins and screws in the materials, and everything here just looks and feels more premium as a result. There’s a faint NZXT in gloss on the matte finish too, and I’m all in favour of more subtle branding. Oh, and you may have noticed, there’s absolutely zero RGB on all these new products, I think that’s great, but I appreciate that’s subjective.

The headset is very lightweight but still feels durable and premium. There’s some soft and comfortable padding on the ear cups, and it’s nice and thick, but I am aware that softer pads like this do tend to wear out a bit quicker, but that’s a tradeoff for comfort though, so it’s not all bad.

NZXT has kept this headset deceptively simple though, with a sliding headband adjustment and a tilt mount on the ear cups. The headband is lightweight, but also very thick to distribute its weight more evenly too.

It uses a single 3.5mm cable on one side, and the right ear cup is withed through the headband.
