NZXT has launched the latest update on the CAM and it has now reached version 2.0. It isn’t that long ago that NZXT created the app and it has come a long way in that little time. The new version is equipped with double the data detection, a customizable interface and a highly functional FPS overlay.
CAM offers a wealth of information to monitor your PC’s health as well as customize and control your NZXT hardware such as GRID+ and Kraken coolers. The new version can now actively monitors and records all essential statistics including network speeds, storage space, component temperatures and load usage over time. Additionally, new advanced detection offers comprehensive data on CPU / GPU specifications, motherboard voltages, HDD S.M.A.R.T. data and much, much more.
The dashboard is modular and CAM is the first PC monitoring software to include all these information as in-game overlay as well. It is when you game that you tax your system the hardest and at the same time you’re ‘locked’ in fullscreen without direct view of your hardware information. No longer with CAM.
There’s also basic support for both Android and iOS where you can access your data from anywhere using your mobile device. In May, Android users will be able to control their CAM components with their mobile devices through an upcoming update for the Android app.
