NZXT Respire T20 CPU Cooler Review

Acoustic performance is identical to the Respire T40 since they both use the same fan. As already mentioned with a high fan speed the NZXT Respire series is highly uncompetitive with acoustics. I couldn’t sit there with it at high fan speed because it is just too noisy. At stock speeds this loudness is exposed in relation to the competition.

However, when we factor in overclocking the competition gets a lot louder. Suddenly the low fan speed acoustics become highly competitive in relation to everything else but the high fan speed acoustics are still poor.

To reiterate – This is the reason why we will only be using the low fan speed temperatures and acoustic levels in our results graph for future comparisons containing the Respire T20 and T40 – because the high fan speed is just unrealistic.
