NZXT Respire T40 CPU Cooler Review

The accessories include both AMD and Intel mounting kits, a fan speed reducer cable, an extra set of fan mounts and an instruction manual. Installation is simple and requires you to install the backplate to the motherboard first. Following that you should attach the Intel or AMD mounting brackets to the backplate screws coming through the motherboard. This means the mounting brackets are not attached to the heatsink. Finally you should secure the heatsink to the brackets using the NZXT branded metal plate/strip. The installation process is generally quite straight forward and the instructions are clear enough for most to easily follow.
The NZXT Respire T40 is a small CPU cooler and as a result you get 100% RAM compatibility as well as no issues with any other parts of the motherboard (such as PCI express lanes and motherboard heatsinks).
Without a fan on this side of the Respire T40 it looks quite bare. But at least you know there is ample room for another 120mm fan if you so desire the extra cooling performance.
As mentioned above, here you can see the 100% RAM compatibility. If it fits Trident X, then it will fit anything, and it does indeed fit Trident X.
