Oculus Rift DK2 VR Covers Review

Performance
As you can see, I’ve had my DK2 for a while now and there is muck and particles building up on the foam padding.
This padding is glued into the body of the DK2 and while it can be removed, it would simply damage it and it’s likely you would have to try source a replacement part and re-glue it back in.
The covers take about 30 seconds to fit and simply hook over the existing padding; it’s really a very simple job.
I think they actually look pretty cool on here and when worn they’re noticeably more comfortable again my face than the default padding, without causing any conflicts, or obstructing the lenses.
Overall they’re super easy to fit, remove and wash, exactly how VR Covers intended them to be. With the added bonus that you get the Velcro strap from the bag, which is great for holding the cables in place at the back of the headset; any DK2 owner will know what I’m talking about.
