Yesterday saw the release of OCZ’s Synapse Cache Series 2.5” SSD’s optimized for caching applications and leverages Dataplex cache software to dynamically manage the Synapse SSD in conjunction with standard hard disk drives (HDD’s), to provide users with SSD-level performance across the entire capacity of the HDD.
The drives are 6GB/s SATA III devices that come in two capacities of 64GB and 128GB and come with a 3 year warranty and is bundled with a 3.5 inch mount adapter, they have low power consumption at 2.7W Active and 1.5W Idle.
