OCZ RevoDrive Hybrid 1TB PCI-Express Solid State Drive Review

The front of the packaging is a simple affair that shows a first look at the product with the main features bullet pointed. These include the drive having a 1TB HDD capacity, 128GB Raw MLC Flash, OCZ VCA 2.0 technology and the Dataplex caching software which comes included inside. Also on the front, it’s worth noting that OCZ give you a very brief diagram showing how the hybrid technology works in terms of hot and cold data.
The rear of the box gives a summary on the RevoDrive Hybrid and what it has to offer over conventional SATA and its bottlenecks. It also mentions the Dataplex caching software which combines the mechanical drive with the solid state flash to give one seamless drive with the improved performance of an SSD.
Opening the box up reveals a user guide and a patented “My SSD is faster that your HDD” sticker. A small set of accessories but nothing more is really needed.
