Packaging

The RevoDrive X2 comes packaged in an all black box with some glossy lettering. Some of the main features of the product are shown on the front including the SandForce based controller, interface being PCI-Express x4 and having Internal RAID 0.
The rear of the box goes a bit further into the history of the RevoDrive X2 and its predecessor; the RevoDrive. Performance figures are thrown into the mix with data rates set at up to 740 MB/s giving quoted figures well above what a traditional solid state or mechanical drive can offer. In many languages, we’re told how the RevoDrive X2 PCIe SSD can offer up a faster and improved PC experience over mechanical drives.
The right hand side features a sticker specific to your particular product. Ours is the 240GB model and specifications are listed for that model. This includes up to 740 MB/s read speeds, 720 MB/s write speeds, dimensions of the card and much more. The serial number and part number are also featured here for troubleshooting and tech support.
Opening the box up reveals another box in the same style, but encompasses a slightly more durable material to protect the contents.
