CrystalDiskMark is a small HDD benchmark utility for your hard drive that enables you to rapidly measure sequential and random read/write speeds.
Here are some key features of “CrystalDiskMark”:
- Sequential reads/writes
- Random 4KB/512KB reads/writes
- Text copy
- Change dialog design
- internationalization (i18n)
Like AS SSD, CrystalDiskMark sees a gain in performance. Looking at the 4K sectors this time the read speeds are up by 4MB/s from a standard Vertex 3 to a shade under 36MB/s, whilst the write speeds are up considerably from 87MB/s to just under 140MB/s.
