Official Fallout 76 PC Specifications Released

We are literally just weeks away from the highly-anticipated release of Fallout 76. Well, I say highly anticipated, but that has proven to depend on what your opinion as a fan of the series is. While some are praising the new direction in which the game is going, others have more than a few concerns surrounding the multiplayer mode.

For PC owners though, perhaps one of the most important pieces of news is what the PC requirements will be. Well, the good news is that in a blog post, Bethesda has just revealed what they are!

System Requirements

Fallout 76 (Minimum):
Requires 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required)
Processor: Intel Core i7 4790 3.6 GHz/AMD Ryzen 3 1300X 3.5 GHz or equivalent
Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 780 3GB/AMD Radeon R9 285 2GB or equivalent
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Storage: 60 GB of free disk space

Fallout 76 (Recommended):
Requires 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Windows 7/8.1/10
Processor: Intel Core i7-4790 3.6 GHz / AMD Ryzen 5 1500X 3.5 GHz
Graphics: Nvidia GTX 970 4GB / AMD R9 290X 4GB
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Storage: 60 GB of free disk space

When Is It Out?

Fallout 76 will release for PC, Xbox One and PS4 on November 14th.

Based on the PC system requirements, in truth, they’re not too bad. What did surprise me was just how close the difference is between the minimum and recommended. The eagle-eyed amongst you will have noticed that the Intel Processor requirement is exactly the same with only a minor upgrade in the Ryzen bracket.
