So far, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is starting to look pretty good. I mean, how can they mess this one up? It’s literally set in the home of the ninjas. Maybe this is the game that will breathe new life into the franchise, as it direly needs it.
Recently Ubisoft released a 13-minute-long video of the gameplay of the game and in the video, we get to see the combat mechanics for both of the in-game characters. As we’ve known previously, there will be two characters to choose from: Naoe, a female ninja/assassin, and Yasuke, a samurai who’s already caused quite a bit of controversy because he’s black.
Ubisoft promises that the game will have castles, bustling ports, peaceful shrines, and pastoral landscapes that will help players to immerse themselves in feudal Japan. The world will be dynamic, with unpredictable weather, changing seasons, and reactive environments.
The game is set to come out on November 15th and for the first time in a long time, the game won’t require an internet connection to play.
