Bethesda’s upcoming title won’t need a powerhouse in order to run decently. However, some of you will need to upgrade a few parts in order to enjoy this title in its entire glory. The Evil Within 2 launches on October 13, and Bethesda has just revealed the official PC requirements for it. At a glance, these requirements are pretty much what you’d expect from a modern game. However, the recommended RAM requirement of 16GB might throw some people off a bit. On the minimum side, you’ll need an Intel Core i5-2400 or an AMD FX-8320 paired with 8GB of RAM. As long as you have a NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB or an AMD HD 7970 3GB, you’re good to go.
Bethesda recommends decent but not out of the ordinary components for its latest title. The processor should be an Intel Core i7-4770 or an AMD Ryzen 5 1600X paired with the aforementioned 16GB of RAM. As for the graphics card, we’re looking at the NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB or the AMD RX 480 8GB, both of which are middle-class offerings. The Evil Within 2 will take up 40GB of disk space, and it is powered by something called STEM Engine. This is a modified version of id Tech 5, and it’s not exactly clear if these requirements are aimed at 60FPS or 30FPS gaming. You can have a look at a complete list below.
