Omron Demos Project Zero 2.0 at CES 2017

In today’s modern society, consumers are able to access vast sums of data to monitor their calorie intake and other key health statistics on-the-go. Hopefully, this information should allow people to make small changes to their lifestyle which can have a rather dramatic effect. While the focus tends to be on fitness, Omron has developed a series of products designed for medical purposes which measure blood pressure with exceptional accuracy. As you can see, the Project Zero 2’s clear display makes it really easy to check the pulse rate, measure physical activity and sleep patterns. According to Omron, this is the first time a device can precisely measure a person’s blood pressure within a wristwatch and was made possible thanks to patented Omron technologies.

The rubber strap is quite durable with lots of adjustments to suit different wrist sizes. Apparently, different straps are being considered to give the device a more dressy sense of style.
