Online Co-Op Added to Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope

A new update for Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope has been released by Croteam. You can now enjoy some glorious online two-player co-op action with your friends. Not only do you get a fantastic new game mode, but you’ll also find two brand new difficulty settings, which allow you to enjoy tourist mode, if you’re feeling the need for a more casual experience, and serious mode, which will help you test the limits of your gaming skills.
The new co-op mode is obviously the biggest feature here, and you and a friend will take control of one version of Sam Stone each in the games combat logs. The best thing is, if you have a HTC Vive and your friend has Oculus Rift, you can still play together, as the game will support a mixture of the two headsets if required.
Of course, you’ll also find a range of small bugfixes and improvements too, and you can check out the new mode in the screenshots and videos below. So what are you waiting for? Get your VR headset, if you own one, and get playing!
“Have you ever wondered what it’s really like to be Serious Sam? Have you ever wanted to fight Mental’s alien hordes with your own two hands? Well, now you can! Step into the shoes of the Earth Defense Force’s greatest hero in this unique VR simulation based on Sam Stone’s own log files from his time as captain of the Battlecruiser Saratoga. Experience the missions that turned Captain Stone into the legend that he is today.”
