Snowboarding games used to be a common staple for many gamers, especially back in the day of the Coolboarders and 1080° Snowboarding! Now they’re making a bit of a comeback today with the release of Mark McMorrir Infinite Air from Maximum Games and HB Studios.
Featuring open-world gameplay, physics-based snowboarding actions, and the support of pro-snowboarder Mark McMorris, X Games Gold medalists Silje Norendal, Torstein Horgmo, Danny Davis, Ulrik Badertscher and Craig McMorris, Infinite Air has a lot to offer. The game offers up over 100 square miles of terrain, procedurally generated mountains, and best of all, a world editor. You can create your own tracks, compete against friends on custom courses and more.
“Being part of the creation of Infinite Air has been a dream come true! As a kid growing up, I always looked up to athletes who were able to create their own video games and today I get to inspire the next generation. I’m extremely proud of what we came up with and thankful for all of the hard work put in by everyone involved. I couldn’t be more excited to share Infinite Air with everyone and can’t wait for you all to experience a different type of snowboarding game!” – Mark McMorris.
“Infinite Air is a fantastic game for sports fans looking for the ultimate adrenaline rush. Our game delivers the most authentic snowboarding experience, and offers an amazing roster of pro-boarders, led by X Games legend, Mark McMorris, and we’re excited for gamers everywhere to get their hands on it.” – Christina Seelye, CEO of Maximum Games.
Infinite Air launches today on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
