Origin PC Unveils EVO15-S Gaming Notebook

Origin PC is synonymous with creating some of the most stylish gaming notebooks on the market. Today, the company announced the EVO15-S which utilizes Intel’s latest Core i7-6700HQ, 16GB DDR4 RAM, dual 128GB M.2 SSD boot drives and a GTX 970M 6GB graphics card. Additionally, the display measures 15.6 inches, and opts for an anti-glare coating. The end-user can select between a 1920×1080 panel or upgrade to a 4K eDP wide angled resolution.

Other notable features include a 1TB secondary storage drive, Killer E2400 networking, USB 3.1 Type-C connector, capable of connecting dual 4K 60Hz displays and support for 15W of charging power. The notebook also comes with free lifetime 24/7 after-sales phone support in the USA.  This impressive specification is housed in a remarkably thin form factor.

The unit measures only 0.78 inches thick and weighs 4.36 lbs. This makes it a very powerful and surprisingly portable notebook. Another interesting addition is the ability to add a custom engraving or unique colour scheme. This level of customization is bound to appeal to the enthusiast demographic.

Origin PC have decided to implement a visually stunning multi-colour backlit keyboard and premium 2.1 audio solution. Apparently, the battery is capable of powering the device up to 4 hours. Sadly there’s no current word on the system’s price, but this should be revealed quite soon.
