What if someone simply steals the system and tries to hack into it later? No problem, any tampering with the main system and the device will wipe all data on its encrypted SSD. So while you may have still lost your data, it didn’t fall into the wrong hands; best keep some secure backups though. Using built-in motion sensors, pressure switches, and open-source software, it’s certainly one of the most secure systems in its class.
You can grab one with Windows, Ubuntu, and even Qubes OS. However, you’ll be paying $1,699 for the honour when it launches in August.
