During the Xbox showcase, Activision shared their first in-engine trailer from the single-player campaign of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The trailer showcases several of the game’s cutscenes and set pieces, giving us a glimpse of what we can expect.
Black Ops 6 seems to also see a return to the classic Call of Duty template with it releasing with a Campaign, Multiplayer and a fan favourite Zombies mode.
The campaign is a single-player spy thriller set in the early 1990s, towards the end of the Cold War, a time when the United States was emerging as the sole superpower.
The Multiplayer will have multiple game modes with traditional 12-core 6v6 and will feature 16 new maps and 4 Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6.
Lastly, the Zombies mode will be a traditional round-based zombie game with players taking down horde after horde of zombies and will have two new maps at launch.
Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is set to release on October 25 and so far it looks pretty good with a return to the basics with it going straight to gamespass on day one. Just a shame you have to download it with Modern Warfare making it take up over 300GB of storage on your system and will always require an internet connection.
