Our First Look at the Upcoming HD NES Games

Nintendo is going from strength to strength, with their shares sky-rocketing courtesy of the popular mobile app, Pokemon GO. The next big step for Nintendo is not a future device but instead the recently announced NES Classic Edition mini-console. Now you can see how much difference the new console will make to create classic games with an HD NES twist.
Costing just $60 the new system will not just feature the old games but will enhance them bringing a whole new life of colours and quality to the otherwise blocky games. While games are typically played on virtual consoles, such as those that give you the chance to play the games on the Wii U and even the 3DS, the new mini console will feature HD NES games.
While the games won’t appear on the fuzzy CRT screens of old, you will get to enjoy classics like Super Mario Bros and Donkey Kong without an old TV that is as deep as it is wide.
With so many games coming back to life, perhaps bringing back the classic games are just what’s needed as we advance to an age were augmented reality games and online multiplayer games bring together everything and everyone. Even as a “Product Under Development” the new shots seem impressive and I can’t wait to complete all these classic games all over again.
