Outlast 2 Coming to Steam – System Requirements Revealed

Outlast 2 by Red Barrels is going to be released in the next few days, and the developers unveiled the minimum and recommended PC system requirements. According to the game’s official Steam page, Outlast 2 runs only on a 64-bit operating system, a latest dual-core CPU, a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 or an ATI Radeon HD 4870 graphics card and 4GB of RAM. These were merely the minimum specs a rig should meet to play Outlast 2 so let’s have a look at what the developer recommends in order to enjoy a smooth gaming experience. We’re looking at an Intel Core i5 paired with 8GB of RAM and a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or an ATI Radeon HD 7850.

  • Storage: 30 GB available space
  • Sound Card: DirectX Compatible
  • Additional Notes: Targetting 720p @ 30 fps

  • Sound Card: DirectX Compatible
  • Additional Notes: Targetting 1080p @ 60 fps
