Over 7 Million sales predicted for Resident Evil 6

Capcom predicts sales of Resident Evil 6 will top 7 million units in its upcoming fiscal year and become the best-selling game in the company’s history.

The projections were revealed during Capcom’s latest earnings release, where the company also expects to sell 2 million units of Devil May Cry, 1.5 million of Dragon’s Dogma, and 1.4 million of Lost Planet 3.

Capcom’s current best-selling game is the Super Nintendo version of Street Fighter II with 6.3 million units sold. Resident Evil 5 is second sold 5.8 million units. Christian Svensson of Capcom U.S.A said Resident Evil 6 is already off to the best start in the franchise’s history.
