CPU & Memory Performance
Cinebench R15
While the i5-6600K did really well in gaming scenarios, it struggles to match the i7-6700K when tackling demanding, multi-threaded workloads. Nevertheless, a 724 Cinebench score is excellent and the CPU can cope relatively well with video editing and other strenuous tasks.
WPrime
A similar situation occurs in WPrime as the system’s CPU posts a much slower compute time. This isn’t a shocking revelation and the i7-6700K’s extra four threads are a great benefit during the benchmark.
AIDA64 Engineer
In terms of memory bandwidth, the system’s dual-channel DDR4 2400MHz setup is capable of superb figures and edged the Zoostorm Inferno’s read and copy rates. Granted, the write speed isn’t as good but you’re not going to notice a difference outside of synthetic applications.
