When it comes to storage, Samsung is a pioneering company and manufactures a huge range of reliable products. The 850 Evo SSD is one of the best SATA drives on the market and attains marvellous read speeds. On another note, the system’s mechanical hard disk did really well and outclassed many competing alternatives.
CrystalDiskMark – Sequential Write
The SSD’s write rate was another highlight and a major step up from some lower-end options opting for a budget boot device. Of course, it’s no match for an NVMe drive, but there’s enough performance on offer without dramatically increasing the retail price.
