As expected, the overclocked i7-6700K and elite class GTX 980Ti requires additional power consumption compared to more energy-efficient options. Nevertheless, the average wattage is pretty good when you take the performance into consideration. There’s more than enough headroom to add a second 980Ti in the near future to help with the frame-rate on a 4K display.
Thermal Performance
The Alpenfohn Broken 2 cooler is a marvel of engineering and keeps the i7-6700K cool under extreme strain while being almost silent.
