The free-to-play sequel to Overwatch has today launched on Steam after being exclusive to battle.net, unfortunately, it hasn’t been given a hero’s welcome.
Overwatch 2 is now available for free on Steam though it has launched with overwhelmingly negative reviews and is clearly not welcome, so why do people hate the game? Well, it seems as though unsurprisingly for a free-to-play title, the microtransactions are a key issue with Blizzard charging obscene amounts for a sodding character’s skin. The reviews also point out the invasion bundle which introduces new story missions for £12.99 which many users have claimed to have not even received. Another thing pointed out was the lack of an “artwork” tab in the community section which honestly, is probably for the best.
