Overwatch Free Weekend Is On The Way!

Overwatch Free Weekend

If you haven’t played Overwatch, I would at this point hope you are at least aware of it. If not, then you are possibly missing out on one of the best team based shooters ever released.

Fret ye not though, if you haven’t tried it yet, I have good news. A free weekend is coming up for the game where you will be able to try out the game, in all it’s glory, for absolutely nothing.

The Price is Right!

In a report from HeroesNeverDie, Blizzard will run a free weekend from February the 16th until the 19th. During this time, anyone with a PS4, PC or Xbox One will be able to download and play the game for free.

While in some ‘free-to-play’ weekends the content can be diluted, Blizzard has assured us that everything will be included. All 26 players, all maps and all game modes. What better way to try it out!

Is it worth playing?

Most definitely! Overwatch represents fun team play with an excellent and varied roster of characters. As you get more into it you might find that you start taking it more seriously which can lead to some headaches, but on this whole, this is one of the best FPS games out there.

It’s colourful, it’s varied and plays beautifully and for a whole weekend, it’s free! What more do you want?

Where can I get my copy?

For PC users, you will need to download the battle.net app from Blizzard and set up an account. For console users, simply visit your respective store page and download. It’s as simple as that.

The free weekend starts on February the 16th, why not give it a go?
