Ozone Neon3K Optical Gaming Mouse Review

The software for the Ozone 3K can be downloaded from the Ozone website, and is very easily installed. It’s not required for operation, but if you want to adjust the macros, lighting and other profile features of the mouse, you will need it. Once set up the way you want it, you can save all the settings directly to the mouse, and you’ll never need the software again until you want to make more changes.
One thing I really like is that the software is laid out on a single page, with all the features in sight, it’s super easy to configure everything across the five profiles.
Buttons can be remapped from a simple drop-down menu, where you can also apply basic repeat and delay settings.
If you want something more complex, there’s a fully featured macro recording engine, which can also be applied to any button on the mouse.
As we would have expected from a competitive gaming mouse with a quality sensor, the tracking on this mouse is fantastic. The mouse can operate from 250 DPI up to 3500DPI, which isn’t a huge range, and you can only select two per-profile for the mouse. However, this does make it easy to flick from your higher DPI to your lower DPI mode and back again quickly, which is really handy for FPS gameplay, especially if you play as a sniper.
