Ozone Neon3K Optical Gaming Mouse Review

Final Thoughts

Price

The Ozone Neon 3K can be purchased directly from the Ozone website for just 34.90 EUR, and comes backed up with a 2-year warranty. This is fantastic value for money for a gaming mouse with this range of features and performance, especially given there are mice that cost twice as much, yet offer no major benefits over what this has to offer.

Overview

We absolutely love this mouse, it’s not too complex, it can be used as a plug and play product and it isn’t in the usual high-end gaming price ranges where your wallet runs away to hide when you even consider it. Of course, if you have the budget for a £100+ gaming mouse, I’m sure you would be pretty happy with your purchase, but if you want a rock solid performance that doesn’t break the bank, then the Ozone 3K Optical Gaming Mouse is ticking all the right boxes.

There’s decent value for money here thanks to a somewhat limited, but still robust range of features. The macro engine, the fully programmable buttons, the adjustable DPI/report rate, built-in memory for five profiles, and the fact that it is ambidextrous, all add up to the basics of what any good gaming mouse requires. It doesn’t matter if you’re just using this mouse in the office or taking it on tour for your eSports tournaments, it’s going to get the job done.

Build quality is great too, as the mouse feels nice and durable despite its lightweight design and affordable price tag. The hard-wearing rubber top panel looks great too and compliments the multi-colour LED lighting nicely. The addition of well-known components such as the Omron switches and the Pixart 3320 Optical sensor help build a little more confidence in the mouse overall.

I really can’t find any fault with this mouse, anything that could be made better, such as offering a wider range of DPI adjustment, or full-RGB lighting, would only seek to increase the price and rob us of one of the best price vs performance mice we’ve tested this year.

Pros

  • Excellent sensor performance
  • 8 programmable buttons
  • Durable build quality
  • Easy to use software
  • LED lighting
  • Excellent value for money

Cons

  • None

“Packed with just the right amount of features, solid performance, a classic shape, and ambidextrous design, the Ozone Neon 3K is one of the best value for money gaming mice on the market today.”
