Ozone Onda 3HX Gaming Headset Review

A quick look down the side of the box we see the 3HXs hit list, compatible with PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, 40mm Speakers, Inline Audio Controller, Built-in Amplifier, Flexible Detachable Microphone, Low weight Ergonomic Design. So nothing ground breaking there, but for a headset of this price range, support for three formats is a more than welcome addition, so is the removable microphone, allowing the set to be used just as headphones for those less inclined to chat or who just want to enjoy some music or a movie from time to time.
Back of the box, we have a little more detail on some of it’s features, “ultra comfortable headband” and “Soft cushions for long gaming sessions” I have to agree with both of these statements, these is by far one of the comfiest headsets I’ve ever worn, helped by the fact it only weighs 345gr and that it has very forgiving soft padding on both the headband and on the ear pads, which are all very accommodating, even on my big head and unfashionable ears. “LED Ozone Logo” which is on the outside of each ear piece, this lights up when you connect the USB cable and the device is powered up, this does look very cool, I was worried it would look cheap having a big red light illuminated around each of my ears, but its more subtle to look at than it sounds and manages to add a very cool touch of style to the set.
