The RTX 40 Super series rumour train is still running strong this time with some leaked packaging and some speculation as to when we will see the reveal of these GPUs.
MEGAsizeGPU is a common name when it comes to hardware leaks and also has a good track record when it comes to early information. Today they shared a photo of the box design for the RTX 4070 Ti Super. There’s nothing major to note about the design except that the SUPER logo uses silver rather than the white that the 20 series Super cards used and I do agree with MEGAsizeGPU, it looks “kinda ugly”.
There isn’t much more information on the box itself about what to expect, we do already know that it uses either an AD102-175 or AD103-275 GPU, will feature the same 285W TDP as the non-Super variant and may see a VRAM increase to 16GB from 12GB. There haven’t been any box design leaks for the 4080 Super or 4070 Super yet either though you can easily imagine what they will look like.
Currently the prediction for a release date is CES 2024 in January which was claimed by another hardware leaker kopite7kimi, although that is an easy guess to make.
