With the GTX 1070 reviews now out, AIB partners have started showing off and launching their various cards. While the Founders Edition is a decent card, it doesn’t quite unlock the full performance and costs an additional $70 USD more as well. After releasing their GTX 1080 custom cards, Palit is now doing the same for the GTX 1070 with 2 new series of graphics cards.
First off we have the gamer-oriented lineup with the GameRock Premium Edition and the regular GameRock GTX 1070. In addition to the new cooler solution which appears to be shared with the JetStream, the card also features RGB LEDs for lighting and 0dB operation when idle. No details have been revealed yet but it seems that the GameRock Premium Edition will feature a higher factory overclock while the regular edition may be tamer or even stock clocked. The cards also feature dual-BIOS just in case something goes wrong.
Next up, we have the GTX 1070 Super JetStream and JetStream graphics cards. These are targetted towards overclockers and likely feature strong factory overclocks. They will also have a more robust power delivery and VRM system as well as more PCIe power connectors. No word yet has been received for pricing but hopefully, they’ll follow the Founders Edition release closely.
