There is no arguing that most of us can’t afford DDR4 memory at the moment and even less so when we talk of 128GB kits, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t dream. However, there are the people who need this kind of memory capacity, especially professional designers as well as server builders and more.
If you should need, or maybe just want, a system packed with 128GB DDR4 memory then you got a new kit to include in your considerations as Patriot expanded their Viper 4 DDR4 series to include both 64GB and 128GB kits based on 16GB modules. The 64GB kit consists of four modules while the 128GB naturally consists of eight modules.
“The addition of the 64GB and 128GB DRAM to the Viper 4 line will help to propel our already well-established catalog of gaming memory,” said Les Henry, Patriot’s VP of Engineering. “Patriot is committed to further developing its gaming line of memory in order to meet the ever growing demand of today’s high-end PCs.”
The new Viper 4 kits start at 2400MHz and running on 1.2V with 14-16-16-31 timings with faster speeds to be announced at a later time. The new modules are XMP 2.0 compatible as it should be. Each of the memory modules is hand-tested for quality assurance and the new modules are backed by Patriot’s lifetime warranty and great customer service.
