Patriot Gauntlet 320GB Wireless Hard Drive Review

Patriot have gone for a box that boasts the key features of the Gauntlet, mainly its wireless capabilities which is the main selling point behind it after all. Along the lower edge we can see that it is compatible with a wide array of smart devices including those that run on Android, iOS and the Kindle Fire from Amazon. As previously mentioned, the Gauntlet comes in two main SKUs – either disk-less (called the Node) or with a 320GB HDD as we have here, this is denoted by the mark on the top right corner of the box.
To one side of the cover we find a list of the device’s specifications, requirements and warranty period along with a few feature highlights to the side.
On the opposite edge there are a few more feature highlights and then Patriot have filled the remainder of the side with a product blurb.
Placing the drive aside and diving to the bottom of the box, we have a Gauntlet product and quick start guide, USB 3.0 cable, USB 2.0 to DC power cable and a US 2-pin mains adaptor for charging on the go.
