Patriot Memory is announcing their new DDR4 memory line they are calling the Viper Steel series. These sport a functional gunmetal gray heatspreader. This heatspreader is made of two pieces of aluminium and has pass-through fins for catching the ambient case airflow. While it has no RGB LEDs, it is designed for users who have no time to devote to such non-sense. Instead it offers the fastest DDR4 performance yet from Patriot
Each kit is compatible with Intel systems and supports XMP 2.0. This allows them to load the preset quickly with speeds of up to 4400MHz available. This highest end option from Patriot runs with CL19-19-19-39 timings at 1.45 V and is a 16GB kit.
Alternatively, the Viper Steel series is also available in 3000MHz, 3200MHz, 3866MHz, 4000MHz, and 4133MHz kits. So users will be able to have several options in the enthusiast-class range. The 3000MHz is available in 8GB, while all other speeds are available in 16GB kits.
The Viper Steel series is also compatible with AMD DDR4 systems. However, results may vary running them beyond 3200MHz.
As with all Patriot DDR4 memory products, the Viper Steel series kits come with a limited lifetime warranty.
